Celebrating a special occasion

Special occasions, such as birthdays, anniversaries or weddings are a wonderful way to bring friends and family together. On these special days, you may want to unite people towards a cause you care about most.

You could request donations in lieu of gifts or hold a collection on the day. Some people even set up JustGiving pages or Facebook fundraisers. If you’d like to make a collection, but aren’t sure where to start, or how to ensure we safely receive your gift, contact us via info@amrefuk.org and we’ll be happy to help.

Honouring the life of a loved one

Holding a funeral collection in honour of your loved one is a meaningful and lasting way of celebrating their life, whilst also creating lasting health change in Africa.

Amref has partnered with ‘MuchLoved’, the UK’s leading in-memory platform. A MuchLoved tribute is your place to remember a special person. You can add photos, videos and memories to your page, and share with family and friends. Click the link below to find out more
